About the neighborhood of Over-the-Rhine
- Over-The-Rhine contains the largest collection of 19th century Italianate architecture
still standing in the United States. The entire 360 acre district of
Over-the-Rhine is recognized on the National Historic Register.
- About 7000 people currently reside in Over-the-Rhine. At one time, over 50,000 people lived here.

OTR has over 500 empty buildings, 2500 empty units, and 700 vacant lots
available for repopulation and renovation. Many of these require serious renovation.
Residential development is a vital business in Over-the-Rhine at this time, and one
that the Over-the-Rhine Chamber supports.

Community Master Plan for Revitalization was published in June, 2002.
