American Legacy Tours – Queen City Underground
Offers regular weekend tours (May—November) and holiday tours in Over-the-Rhine. There are also tours that focus on select historic periods and footprints left in the city including the Civil War and the Prohibition era.
The Garage OTR / Segway Cincinnati Tours
Offers three distinct tour routes in the immediate Cincinnati area. All three routes are 2hr experiences, including 15-20 min of training and a 90 min guided ride. Custom tours are also available. Riverfront and Downtown Tours meet and depart from our showroom, at the corner of Vine and Central Pkwy.

Rookwood Pottery Company Tours
Offers free guided tours of their production facility located at 1920 Race Street once per week; please call for an appointment at 513-381-2510. See first-hand Rookwood’s in-house process in a one-hour guided tour from initial concept design, molding, baking to final coloring. The showroom is also open to the public most days during the week. Brewery District Pre-Prohibition Brewery Tours
Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine neighborhood is home to one of the largest collections of pre-Prohibition brewery architecture in the middle of one of the largest historic districts in the country. The Brewery District Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation offers a few tours during the year that allow visitors to explore historic underground breweries, cellars and tunnels that were the heart of Cincinnati’s brewery industry prior to the Prohibition Era.
Christian Moerlein Brewery Facility Tours
Offers free guided tours during set times of their brewery production facility located on Moore Street. The tours feature Christian Moerlein’s in-house brewery process as well as the history behind the underground Malt House and Pre-Prohibition Kauffman Brewery.
German Heritage Tours
Explore numerous examples of the impact of German immigration and settlement in Over-the-Rhine. German Heritage Tours focuses on them and provides a close-up examination and explanation of them.
Queen City History and Education Tours
Organizes the Saloon Tour Series May through mid-September that unveils the sealed, intertwined history behind some of the city’s most popular saloons in downtown and Over-the-Rhine. There are also individual tours and the topic varies from week to week, including a tour of Main Street's history and architecture.
Mural Walk in Downtown and Over-the-Rhine with ArtWorks
ArtWorks, a Cincinnati nonprofit organization that trains and employs local youth and talent to create art and community impact, offers two walking tours. Both walking tours last about an hour and a half and feature 7 to 10 murals. ArtWorks’ youth Apprentice mural painters, paired knowledgeable adult volunteers, will lead the tours explaining how the murals are made and their connection to the community. Mural tours run April to November. Tickets are available for purchase online at ArtworksCincinnati.org.
