ConnectHER OTR Initiative's Mission
ConnectHER OTR, presented by the OTR Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to empowering and supporting female business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in OTR and surrounding communities. Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we foster a thriving ecosystem where women can connect, grow, and succeed. Our mission is to provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities that enable women to build sustainable businesses, drive innovation, and create lasting impact in the local economy. Together, we are shaping a more inclusive and dynamic entrepreneurial landscape in OTR.
Events Exclusive to ConnectHER OTR
Monthly Lunch Hours - This exclusive Lunch Hour event will be open to just 20 women each month, where attendees pre-order lunch and have the entire hour to network and connect with other female business owners and entrepreneurs while enjoying lunch at a local OTR restaurant. This event will kick off in March, during International Women's Month.
March 4th,2025~ 12:00pm-1:00pm at Bakersfield OTR 1213 Vine Street
$25 for OTR Chamber Members or $30 for Non OTR Chamber Members. PRE PAID. You will complete the form and then will be sent an invoice, which needs to be paid within 24 hours to secure your spot. ONLY 20 SPOTS WILL BE SOLD.

Evening Get Togethers - Every other month, we will host a women's networking and connection gathering where women from various stages of their career will come together to share experiences, build relationships, and support one another all while participating in an activity such as candle making, a cooking class, or cookie decorating.
Summit - This full day event will be an empowering and dynamic event designed to provide valuable insights, practical tools, and networking opportunities for women in business. The day would be packed with a mix of keynote speakers, interactive workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions all focused on helping women grow and thrive in their entrepreneurial journeys. This summit will take place in September.
